Joss's Visit to Jamaica

Joss has been a student with Amity for a number of years, and attended Clubs at Streatham Pool and Carnegie Library.

Work commitments have made his attendance variable in the past but towards the end of 2005, he found himself able to attend Carnegie on a regular basis.

Accordingly, when he, his wife and children returned from a long awaited holiday in Jamaica, the island his family came from, he discovered the incentive to work with his volunteer, to produce a record of his visit.

As with other pieces of student writing, this account is not only interesting in its own right, it also offers reading material for your own students; it may well match their skills level or give them a target to aspire to.
